I’m the guy who takes the road least traveled. I’m bored easily so I fill my life with adventure. It could be a trip to Jordan, climb Machu Picchu or drive across the country but it can just as easily be a walk through an unfamiliar neighborhood. I’m the most happy when I’m walking through an strange city without a care in the world. I like to share my adventures. Recently I had the privilege to tell my story in front of an audience in NYC ( The Moth http://www.themoth.org ). Life’s meaning is not found at the end’s of one’s life. My goal is to find meaning everyday, and never let a day go to waste.

I’m an observer of human nature. I meet people easily although I’m not at all a social butterfly. I like to ask questions so that I can understand both what they believe in and for what reason. I believe
that everyone is entitled to their beliefs and that everyone create their own reality. I take a very scientific approach to my life and my observations but I give room for everyone to decide for themselves.

My life is an open book. It wouldn’t be fair to describe myself without telling the bad with the good. I’m very open about being a diabetic. I’m not shy about pulling out my medication and injecting
while in a crowded restaurant. Being a diabetic is a major part of my life, but I control it and it does not control me nor does it define who I am. Some people who describe me as a workaholic. I enjoy what I
do, so I don’t see it as work. Programming is like solving a puzzle, some people like to work on Sudoku, I enjoy writing beautiful code on my computer.

Why am I keeping this very public blog?
