Joyce Says

Great singing Chuck.  You are the “Renaissance Man”!  I so glad you are enjoying your birthday gift.  I can’t wait until you sing my request “Cooler than Me”.

I bullied Chuck to write about his “true self” and he got all flustered at the thought of showing the tender, caring soul that he is.  Well, Chuck, your video of singing Kermit’s song for Genny shows what a caring guy you are.  What guy, would put himself on the web showing himself singing a child’s song, just to cheer up a friend in need?  It melted my heart and my husband says I am the “dragon lady”.

Just been reading some of Chuck’s memories.  I always have admired the “insightful” thoughts that he has of his life experiences.  He is always learning, searching, and willing to try new experiences.  Chuck has a great “inquiring mind”, however he has to start giving himself permission to stumble, fall, and even fail.  As another Chinese adult who was raised in “doing the best, being #1, and always striving for affirmation, I have found as I grow older that failing is part of the life experience in order to get closer to what we want to be.  Without failure, we don’t learn and grow…
